I have been considering buying a new case. My main requirements are that it is sound dampening, has space for plenty of air and liquid cooling, and has room for 2 if not 3 GPUs.
What cases do you recommend? I have so far liked:
NZXT h440
Corsair 550d
Cooler master 652s
But I would like to know how many GPUs each one would support. If you have another case recommendation, please also say. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well this question is more of a vague question but it will decide on what motherboard you have. Certain motherboards may have up to 3 or more PCi slots but not every slot we be able to be used ( but this is only for some boards). Now onto the answer for your question.

Corsair 550D: 8 expansion slots, fits and kind...

Define R5 has plenty of room for GPUs, I like it a lot. But that H440 is pretty awesome too, except for the drive bays, I don't like how you have to take off the right side panel to change a disk. Looks like cable-management is easier in the H440 too.

NZXT H440. I have it with one GPU and it is absolutely silent. I convinced my friend who has two GTX 970s running in SLI and it still makes almost no noise. It built very well too, with strong support for heavy mobos and gpus.

Corsair 550D: 8 expansion slots, fits and kind of Motherboard you can use as of now , great noise canceling. Definite YES!

NZXT H440: Only 7 expansion slots, some boards have configurations for this type of case layout, you may need to check what board you have and see if it is up to 3x SLi. decent noise isolation

CM 652s: This is like the Corsair case, with 8 expansion slots, and the case seems to have decent noise dampening.

If i were you id also look into purchasing the Fractal Design R5 the case is also another great choice for noise cancellation with multi GPU support.
Glad i could help :D
