Hi everyone! I'm new to overclocking (althought I have read a lot about it) and I'd like your help because I'm stuck at 4.3 Ghz. My system contains:
Motherboard: 990FX Extreme3 p1.70
CPU: AMD FX-8320
CPU Cooler: Corsair A70 Dual 120mm Fan
RAM: 2x4GB Vengeance 9-9-9-24 1600(xmp 1.2)
Power Supply: Corsair CX750

At 4.3Ghz I am not yet full stabilized but i think I am close. On prime95 it lasted around 1 hour and I didn't run AMD overdrive and IntelBurn for long but they showed no error. I am quite confused about voltage because in many articles some people say to lower Voltage so that the system can stabilize. Shouldn't my system become more stable (no matter the heat which never rises above 58) with higher voltage? Obviously there are things that I have not coprehended yet!
I'd apreciate your help!

Bios options:
CPU : 200x22 = 4400Mhz @ 1.450V (have tried 1.4625-1.4750 as well)
NB multiplier: 11x @ 1.875V
HT Bus: 2600Mhz (it was auto by default)
DRAM: with or without XMP @ 1600Mhz and auto Voltage
Disabled: Turbo Core, APM,Cool n' Quiet,C1E,C6,Thermal Throttle

It's a poor overclocking board , won't go up much at all due to it's poor power phase design.

Yeah you're right, I bought it quite cheap! So no hope, no matter what I do right? Is there any danger in overclocking on poor motherboards?
