Controlling Case Fan Speeds

Hello all,

I've been meaning to change my case for some time (I have a CM Storm Enforcer). Its a nice looking case but the dust filters are a joke and the front 200mm fan is ridiculously loud.

Anyway because my desk is very short, most cases I have looked at as an alternative are too wide so for the moment I am stuck with the Enforcer. Therefore I am looking to decrease the 200mm fan speed in an effort to save my ears.

I've looked on YouTube and at similar posts on here but most refer to SpeedFan. I've tried SpeedFan a couple of times with zero success (and I watched a tutorial video on how to use it).

I was wondering if and how I could do this in the BIOS? My motherboard is a GA-Z77X-D3H.

Thanks in advance :D

Thank you both for your answers. All my case fans are plugged into my motherboard and sadly the 200mm front fan I wish to change the speed of is a 3-pin. Does this mean there's no way to change the fan speed in the motherboard BIOS?

I'd prefer not to get a fan controller if I can help it because I'm still looking for a new case so I don't want to have to spend extra money on this one, even if its only a fiver. I'd also like some sort of solution where the fans can ramp up independently if things are getting too hot but stay silent when web browsing etc. This is why I was hoping the BIOS could cover it because fan controllers that do that are much more expensive.

Thanks for the help so far :D
