using ram from g41t-ad on msi z97

Hey guys I am in the process of upgrading my system , can I use the ram from my emachine mobo which is ddr3 on my new msi z97 gaming 5 mobo until I can afford to buy new ram ? Thanks

use cpu-z to read the ram. as long as is 1.5v-1.65v ram and 1066-1600 speed you be fine. if it over `.65v it can burn out the memory controller in the cpu. if the ram is faster then 1600 speed then you may not have to replace it if you have 8g of it.
