need recommendation for blu-ray playback.

i built a new pc recently, and one of the devices i installed is an asus blu-ray drive so i could playback/ backup blu-ray movies. only problem is that windows 7 doesn't support blu-ray playback out the gate, so i find myself in need or recommdations, ive tried a few tricks like VLC, quicktime, and a divX solution that im familiar with, all with no luck.

any help toward getting this to work is welcomed.

thanks for your suggestions, i have tried most of them, and they work, which is the best i could ask for. ill see what else i can find out there, but thanks for what you have given me so far.

Another option is to get AnyDVD, rip your Blu rays to your HDD and play using VLC, also gives you backup protection.
