My computer runs games slowly

Hi, I build my Pc but it run slow when i play games.
My aspects are:
I3-4150
R9 280x
Motherboard H81-HDM
1 TB
8 RAM

If you could help me that will be great.

Download GPU-Z and keep it running in the background while you are playing games. When the game becomes slow, quit it, and check the sensors tab on GPU-Z and see, how fast was your graphics card running?
