Average Framerate: 78.00
Max. Framerate: 183.32
Min. Framerate: 19.39

That is what i got in the built in benchmark

I have a gigabyte GTX 970 and an i5 4690k all at stock

I ran at max settings with no SSAA or motion blur with advanced Physx

In actual gameplay

Underground was usually at 90-120
The lowest that it went to was the mid 50's for a split second and a lot of the time, It was around 140-160

Above ground, the lowest it went to was 65 which was right after a cutscene
during actual gameplay, it never fell below 70

is this good and normal for a GTX 970 and i5 4690k build

I'm kind of confused about the second part of what you are saying

The 780 is slightly less powerful than a 970 so it makes sense that your 780 Would perform a bit worse

I run at 60FPS all the time

Very rare for the FPS to drop below

What do you mean Binned?
This is my first PC so is it a good or bad thing

Do you get a bit lower with the OC, if you have overclocked the 780 then you should be getting the same(or better by a bit) FPS

Thanks

it is a common misconception that all gpu chips are made equal. Quite a few just straight up dont work and then most are average however all gpu chips are "binned" to check their performance. the evga classifieds are some of the highest binned gpus so they can acheive higher overclocks. your fps is great and you wont have to worry about that
