Hi, I'd just like some feedback on this gaming PC I am thinking of building. Thanks
(I know the title says micro ATX but I have changed my mind on this based on the advice given here about mATX issues with 8 core CPUs)

Case: CiT Vantage

PSU: Corsair RM750 (already purchased)

MOBO: ASRock 990FX Extreme9

HDD: Seagate 2TB ST2000DM002

DVD ROM: Asus 48x (already purchased)

Case Fans: Corsair AF/SP120x3 (haven't decided on fan types yet) + 2x120mm included with case

CPU: AMD FX8350 (stock speeds, already purchased)

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 (stock speeds, already purchased)

CPU Cooler Cooler Master Hyper EVO 212

RAM 16GB (2x8) Vengeance Pro Series Red 2400

SSD Kingston 240GB 2.5" SATA III

Solution
The cheap capacitors means the unit could just fail for no apparent reason. It is covered under warranty, and only the PSU will be damaged in this situation, but it is a pain to deal with.

As for the motherboard, the M5A99FX Pro, and the Sabertooth 990FX are good options.
PSU has cheap capacitors in it.
The H50 is not a good cooler, the evo will perform much better in comparison.
Look into an 850 EVO opposed to the kingston drive.

I also recommend you do not try to run a mATX system with an AMD processor. There is not a single mATX AM3+ board that works well.

Thanks for the quick reply, although the PSU has a 5 year warranty what are the repercussions of those cheap capacitors, slight buzzing noise or a likely short life?

Also about what you said regarding mATX you can probably see on my other post I'm having some issue with thefx8350 on the gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3 which is mATX so I am now considering a full ATX 990fx, either the asrock fatality killer or since it's not much more in cost the 990fx Extreme9, would that be a wise move? Thanks

Thanks. With it being a compact case temperature is something that I was considering carefully and now wondering as shown in my other reply if I would be safer just going with a full ATX case and 990FX board after all..

Would you say there is anything wrong with the asrock 990fx extreme9 or are those boards you suggested just better value (I like the asrock brand)
