Started getting message "Interactive logon process initialization has failed. please consult the event log for more details" when I would try to boot up my pc (Windows 8.1). Could not get past that message. Reformatted SSD without much of an issue. When I installed drivers for the mobo and video card drivers, computer had issues booting up, would freeze on the loading screen right before the login. Would either not detect keyboard at all or in time to go back into the bios.

I have tried plugging the video directly into the mobo port and even switched video cards, to no avail. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Does the motherboard have a PS2 port? Try connecting to it. It may be the monitor is too slow reacting to the change in video. You may just have to watch for the LED on the keyboard and mash the appropriate key for the BIOS. Check the user's manual if you are unsure as to which key to mash.
