Does the MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G card fit in a Dell XPS 8700?

Most commercial PC's do not conform to ATX standards. The only good way to tell is to break out your trusty tape measure and compare the measurements to the card's spec's.
Measure from the inside surface of the PCI Express x16 slot towards the front of the case to the first obstruction(length). The height of of the card will probably not be a problem, but you can compare that dimension as well.

I have an old Dell XPS T-500 From 1999. It still works. Apart from some fans and a hard drive, it is all original parts. It has a 500 MHz processor, so it's too slow for much these days. But it still runs!
