Okay...to put this simply, I'm wanting to build an entertainment computer similar to the Alienware Alpha.

I have an i3 processor, a gtx 560 ti (I have two with the sli, but I'm only wanting to use one), and 6 gb of ddr3 ram I want to use in this machine.

I'm wanting to design this machine to be on frequently, so low power consumption is a major focus I want for this. I'm also wanting to use a small form factor for it to get it as compact as possible. I'm planning on using a SSD to improve the operating speed and lower power consumption and a 1TB HDD for game/movie storage. I'm also wanting to use a bluray drive, but I can settle for an external for the needs of the machine. So the parts I'm looking for recommendations on are:

  • Case (The more compact the better)
    Motherboard
Cooling system (fan or liquid, looking for most efficient with the build)
PSU (I'm not sure how to balance it out)

How about this? It's a bit expensive but I picked a sturdy ITX case, a high quality power supply and a motherboard that supports your processor that has inbuilt wifi.
