Long range omnidirectional Wifi

Hi Guys

I have fast internet connection at my home, and i want to share my internet connection with my cousin & brother, which are around 5km away from me, with buildings,trees,hills in between us. i want to know what to use in able to achieve that, cause my cousin is to my north direction and my brother to south, which will require me to use omnidirectional antenna. money is not an issue here, and in my country they don't really have rules guiding bands.

Even with directional antenna you will not get it to work with things like buildings or trees blocking the signal. You need clear line of sight and you need to be fairly high above the ground just so the reflections from the ground do not interfere. You also need equipment on both ends the small antenna and radios in the end device can never go that far.

Your best bet is 2 directional antenna to your place and 1 on each of the remote sites. You will likely need to mount these on the roof.

The problem with looking for equipment that transmits at higher power is it is extremely expensive to manufacture microwave amplifiers that can put out high power rates without lots of interference. They are also very hard to get because they...

They are also very hard to get because they are illegal in most countries so you would have to import them directly from china and take the risk of fraud since there is no way to certify that they put out the power. Besides do you really want a high power 2.4g radio in your house....your microwave oven uses 2.4g and cooks food really well with 1000 watts of power.
