Is HP Spectre x360 RAM expandable to 16 gb?

HP says it is limited to 8GB's. Although the top of the line pre-configured model shows a user accessible memory slot in the specs. However, the manual does not mention anything about memory expansion. I'd like to get the custom model so I can get it with Windows Pro, but that one does not show a user accessible memory slot in the sales specs.
Do you have one, and can you confirm the model?

I think it is not expandable at all, there are many places were it said that the memory is soldered, so it cannot be changed. Has anyone that bought it taken a look to see if the memory can be upgraded?

I don't have one of these laptops, nor have I seen one.

According to this review under specifications tab, the memory is upgradeable to 16 GB. However, this might depend on the (sub) model of x360(?)

From photos I've seen so far, it appears the memory is soldered directly onto the motherboard, and with no (obvious) provision for additional memory (ie no memory slot(s)).

I have seen the inside of mine and from what i can tell it is soldered in, that or any modification would have to be done by HP because i have never seen a laptop ram installed like it is.

I don't think there is much expandability but both the 13" and the 15" come in 16G configurations. I was just viewing them on BestBuy. When I went direct to HP neither is listed! Not sure the plan but that is the current gig! I am looking for reviews and feed back on these little boxes!

They are just copying Apple. You can't even ADD 16gb from HP's website to the LOWER models...and it says ONBOARD ram....so I'm 99.99999% sure you can't upgrade it.
