Can i change the CPU on this dell inspiron 3847?

I have a dell insprion 3847 with an i3-4150 and i wanna upgrade to a i5-4570S..Both LGA 1150 and my Power supply is good enough for everything just saiyan...but Would i be able to upgrade?

This i5 have higher TDP * generating more heat and need more power,
motherboard VRM can overheat on full load or old CPU cooler can be to small for new CPU , but probably will be still ok but I do not give you 100%

Site bellow tells that you have 96% chance for upgrade.

Hi

Dell have very good service / upgrade documentation on their website
Which should show what cpu's are compatible and were being offered
In that range of pc's

Often the heat sink fan mountings for Dell desktop are non standard so look inside and look at tdp rating for chosen i5 upgrade and existing i3 to see if a better Or bigger heat sink fan is needed

I know it's an old post, but if someone searching for this topic (and i just answered similar question from 2016) here is the answer.
According to dell (see the link below) this computer can run any 4th gen processor. Celerons, Pentiums, i3, i5 and even i7.
