I cant' access the bios MSI P45D3 Platinum (MS-7513)

Hello there, my problem is the following, I'm trying to overclock my CPU (Core 2 Quad Q9550), but that's not the problem here, every time I adjust the BIOS settings and save (reboot) then try to access it again, the system hangs on "WAIT..." screen, I can still access the windows and do everything there(gaming,browse the internet etc...). clearing the BIOS will allow me to access it again, but as you know it will reset everything

Any help would be appreciated

System SPECS:
MOBO: MSI P45D3 Platinum (MS-7513)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
GPU: Sapphire R7 265
Ram: 8GB @1333(4x2GB) DDR3
PSU: Corsair VS550 W

If you also try to clear the CMOS, may try to replace the CMOS battery.

And do you use the aftermarket cpu cooler when you oc the q9550?

Thanks for the replay, I do use Cooler Maste rHYPER 212 EVO, removing the battery didn't work
Overheating is not an issue in this case since I can't even get to the bios to OC, now I'm facing another problem with the "Overclock Jumpers" when I remove them to get 400 FSB, windows report this problem

From the 2nd screenshot, you can see the errors, 1) CMOS settings wrong, 2) date/time not set. So try to set the date/time first, and boot the PC again.

What is your RAM spec?

I couldn't access the BIOS settings, the 3rd screen shot is what's happened when accessing the BIOS.
I sorted this problem out by flashing newer BIOS version,it was hard and complicated but it worked.
now I can access my bios normally and start to OC. Thanks
