Im planning to buy WD 1 TB blue 3,5" HDD. I have an SSD disc (120 GB) for system (windows+most runned programs), but i need additional HDD for games (steam) and other storage+ maybe few programs that i will not be able to instal on SSD because i have left only 40 GB from 120 GB currently).

The WD 1 TB blue has acces times something from 15-20 (quite slow). But im not sure what would slow acces time affect in particular?

so for my purposes are those 15-20 ms acces times on WD 1 TB blue ok?

Hey there, Thomas!

I don't think that the WD Blue will be slow for you at all. There are a lot of users that I've encountered, who prefer it even for their gaming storage.
However, I think that the WD Black might be a better fit for you. This is our performance drive specifically designed to deliver performance in gaming rigs or computers using demanding applications. The advantage of the WD Black before the WD Blue is that it has a dual processor, bigger capacities and a 5-year limited warranty.
Here's a link to the product page, where you can read through all the features that it incorporates: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=trsQCb

Either way, both the WD Blue and the WD Black offer you 7200 RPM and 64 MB cache. IMO the estimated access time on the WD Blue won't be an issue for you at all.

Hope this helped! :)
