is it worth it to upgraded to a gtx 730 from intel 2500 hd?

Solution
your cpu is still very strong and 8gb ram is good for gaming, all you literally need is a good gpu (and power supply) and you'd be able to play any game on ultra

I've been able to play any game on ultra even on my stock i5 3570k, and cpu improvements have stagnated since sandy bridge in 2011 anyway, despite what upgrade happy enthusiasts like to say online.

The GTX 730 is a decent card but you wont be seeing 30fps on middle-high settings
It's more of a 45fps on lowest settings possible

Other options for $50 are:
Radeon HD 6570
Radeon HD 3870
Radeon HD 6450
Radeon HD 5450

I think i like the r9 270 seems like a very good card and price is decent. But i dont know if theres any point now, i just realized how out of date my cpu is, it a i5 3470, also only 8gb of ram. Dont think i can play any of the new games. maybe its time for a new computer...

advanced warfare was a pretty bad pc port, it played choppy even on my i5 3570k and hd 7950....but on any actual good pc port you'd play stuff fine. Advanced warfare, due to so many problems at launch, also had its online population plummet pretty badly, even less people play it than mw3 on console. I'd get it cheap on console if you were really wanting AW. I had trouble ever even finding a match on pc
