CPU temp not showing in BIOS/UEFI, CPU fan not working properly

Hello

i recently noticed an issue with my CPU fan, it has static RPM no matter what temp CPU has, im running asrock z97 pro4 with i5 4690k and cryorig h7 cooling and i can only run CPU cooling fan in one speed (can pick in bios/uefi silent - 450RPM, standard 1250RPM, full action 1650RPM, custom levels depending on CPU temp dont work, as it always stays at speed for minimal temp)

i also noticed my UEFI cant read CPU temp., it shows N/A instead of temp. it shows MB temp but CPU is missing and i dunno why, hwmonitor, aida64 or occt can read CPU temp properly though, do they read it from same sensor - uefi and software?

i also guess thats the problem with dynamic fan control as mobo cant read cpu temp -> cant modify RPM of fan depending on temp, but why i cant do it under windows with external software? GPU fans are working ok, getting faster as temp. grows, but CPU is always same RPM

i also cant get CPU fan dynamic speed with external software like speedfan or a-tuning from asrock

fan is connected properly to cpufan1 4 pin socket.

i have mobo for like 6 months but tbh i havent checked it before, as i recently bought H7 and installed it on mobo, wanted to OC a bit, but then noticed that during stress test under occt or aida RPMs are always at same level and with multiplier above 43-44 temps are getting a bit too high

is there anything i can check/do/fix it? or maybe theres another software that can make my CPU fan RPMs differ depending on CPU temp, i must say that its kinda annoying to have it around 60% all the time, even when idle or browsing.

i pretty much would like not to RMA it, as it takes a lot of time here where i live, also checking with another CPU or mobo is not an option, my friends run older rigs.

thx for reading and future answers

My office workstation has done the same thing too, but changing the fan connector from normal fan to PWM and updating the bios made the difference. Have you tried updating your bios? It sounds like diode malfunction to me, but I can't explain the same time cooler low speed. Best wishes!

my fan is PWM and its connected to 4 pin socket, so it should have dynamic RPMs depending on CPU temp.
i have newest bios/uefi version

the only answer i got from asrock tech support was "prolly CPU sensor fault or MB fault, contact your reseller" .... didnt help me much.
and i need pc to work, so i cant send them there for 2-3 weeks while they check it,

Those dual sensor failures are very rare. RMA is the only thing to do right now. Unless you have an option for a second cooler/second motherboard, I guess you gotta keep it like that. As soon as you get an option, send the cooler and the motherboard to your retailers. You can always go to a PC store, leave it there to them and see what's really wrong, but getting a replacement is better for a gaming PC like yours, so it has better performance. It probably will happen again after it is fixed, you can never trust electronics. So, if you can borrow a PC for some time, take it to the store. If not, but can find a cooler and a mobo, than RMA. If not on the both, you gotta keep it broken for some more time. Just don't play your games on Ultra/High, only if you don't wanna fry something.
