Hi! I currently have a ps4, and I have really been enjoying it. However, recently, I have had an urge to get an xbox one for the exclusives, like halo. The xbox one may have a inferior frame-rate and lower resolution, but that is supposed to be fixed with Direct x12. I have 4 games for the ps4 plus a year of psn plus, but I can trade it for a year of live and 8 or so games for the xbox one (I mostly play online fps and the sort). Should I trade or keep?

Solution
Dont trade, I would really keep it directX 12 wont fix everything. It will help but wont magically make everything 60fps 1080p. Unless you REALLY want halo then it's not worth $500 plus live.

DirectX 12 won't do anything for the XBox One as the API it uses is more efficient than DX12. DX12 might make some coding simpler to do than otherwise but it won't affect performance in the long run. The PS4 has its own architectural benefits and considering that PS4 is superior by quite a big margin specs-wise it will always outperform the XBox.
