Hi,
I recently finished building my pc.
Specs:
Intel Core i5 4690K
Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB
GTX 970 (4GB)NOT 3.5 .. . ..... ..... . . . . . . .
Asus Maximus VII Hero
A DVD drive

I installed all the motherboard drivers followed by the graphics card drivers using the CD's instead of using the web because I didn't have access to internet at the time. Time for the random questions..
1) When I was installing the graphics card drivers I selected " install drivers" I noticed that there is also an option to install Phsyx. Do I have to install that as well or will it be included in the "drivers"
I know in Geforce Experience that my GPU drivers are up to date but will I have to manually install Physx?
2) Should I update my Bios/Chipset/Mobo Drivers? And because I have already installed the ones that came with the mobo (CD) , will installing ones from the internet cause conflict issues??
3) How do I know which drivers to download for my MOBO?
4) Silly question but um..When I move a window around the screen on the desktop on my computer it stutters sometimes..Why o why would this happen/is it normal?
5) How do I control all the fans in my system, all of which are connected to the motherboard?
(How to customise)?
6) How do I check that there is nothing unnecessary running in the background on pc?
7) Do I need an anti-malware as well as anti-virus or can I just use an antivirus?

Is there an application that can update all my drivers? PS(I don't mind paying)

Thanks a lot!
Ben

Solution
1) If you use Physx you need that driver.

2) The drivers from the motherboard's manufacturer will be the latest version. The CD drivers are outdated.

3) You would install drivers that you would use.

4) could be drivers

5)If you have PWM fans connected to PWM fan headers, you can set their fan profile in the BIOS. If they are powered by molex, then they will run at 100% unless you lower the voltage.

6) You manually check in Task manager

7)Getting Malwarebytes should be enough fro anti malware. As long you use the internet safely, you shouldn't have any problems.

The best application to update your drivers would be yourself. Read what drivers you are installing and how it would affect your pc.

when you install the asus ai suit do not update the bios from windows you kill the cmos chip. if you need to update the bios to 2601 use the usb flashback or copy the bios file to a usb stick and use the usb updater in the bios.
