Explanation:
Occasionally whenever I am in a game, my and mouse will freeze, but I will still be able to use my keyboard (ps2). The screen flickers and game will start to lag a lot. An alert for a USB device unplugging will sound, and I will be able to move my mouse again, and then the screen flickers and the game will lag again for a split second. After this, everything will go back to normal. This happens about every 20 minutes or so, and happens more often while I am in game. All of this started happening out of the blue, and it has been several months since I have done anything major to my computer as far as both hardware and software. This will also happen while on the desktop.
Things I have tried:
- cleaning my registry
- disabling usb 3 in BIOS
- running Windows Memory Diagnostic (nothing found)
- ran Malwarebytes several times
