USB copied files are corrupted/missing

Hi! I was copying some files/folders etc. on my flash drive 8GB kingston DT101. After copying, I opened my flash drive and see if It was succesfull.. Yes, It was. Files are there (but i didnt try to open it) But after I take it out and placed it back into the computer again, the folders are there, but the files inside the folders were missing. Then the other files like notepad (.txt files) are corrupted. is there some ways to fix this problem? :/

Hey Imraf. Did you remember to "Safely remove" the USB flash drive before you've disconnected it? Sometimes this may cause issues like that. You could try some of the data recovery options listed in this thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html to see if they help you recover the files properly.
