I was wondering if i should just buy water cooling right away or build it first and then over time get the water components.
If I did water cool it which would be better to make a custom loop or buy premade individual components.
Thanks

First, I would determine if liquid cooling is even the best choice.

What is the reason for liquid cooling? Aesthetics? Then it makes sense.

Extreme overclocking? Then it MIGHT make sense.

One of the AMD or Intel chips that require liquid cooling? Not much choice in that case.

Honestly, if you're not going with liquid cooling for aesthetic reasons and you don't plan a serious overclock, or your case won't support a taller cooler, then there's really no reason to use liquid cooling at all. In almost all but the most extreme circumstances, air coolers are just as capable as the majority of liquid coolers. For the most part, on a new build which I'm guessing might be your first build, I'd just use air.

A good cooler that is both extremely capable and not extremely expensive, would be something like the Cryorig H5, H7 or Noctua NH-U12S or NH-U14S. I use the NH-U14S on the majority of builds I do, and my own rig, and it's a great unit that's very capable.
