I've managed to crossfire my HD 7970 and my R9 280X (280X is a rebranded 7970) and every time I overclock my 280X it works perfectly. However, when I switch to the 7970, there are no clocks, or temperatures (they are all set to 0). I'm trying to increase the fan speed because when I play metro redux, the 7970 starts smelling like burned plastic.

Solution
The spec says " if you are installing two PCI Express graphics cards, it is recommended that you install them in the PCIEX16_1 and PCIEX16_2 slots." - are they?

I just noticed that my second card's fan isn't spinning. I don't know what's the problem since the computer recognizes it.

EDIT: When I turned crossfire off, it started spinning, but if I turn it on it doesn't.

It isn't on the list, I updated the firmware because it used ti be a single GPU build, but since I didn't need a second computer, I crossfired them. 11.88V, 5.1V, 3.384V (the VCore loadline is set to extreme because the CPU is overclocked to 4.5GHz.
