Hi there,

Recently my PC has been playing up a bit where a number of problems arose. Firstly, after turning it on it would shut down after about three seconds and then back on again a few seconds later. It would do this repeatedly until I opened the case and had a play around with cables and sockets making sure everything was in place and nothing had come loose. I managed to fix the problem, but shortly after my PC stayed on for more than three seconds (Managed to log on and open WoW/Mumble etc) it shut down out of nowhere. Ever since, my monitor hasn't been recieving a signal from my PC, just kept displaying "No Signal Detected". Again I opened it up and began troubleshooting. I removed the CMOS battery to try and reset the BIOS settings. I took out my RAM stick, GPU, CPU and all relative cables to remove any dust and fix anything that might have come loose or disconnected, but this was to no avail. After many hours of headbanging in confusion, I managed to get the display to work. Straight away it went into my Motherboards BIOS settings and from here I selected the "Load Optimised defaults and boot" command. As soon as I did this the screen went blank and no signal was being detected yet again. However, my PC was still booting up, I could hear windows starting up and logging in but still no display. I literally have no clue what to do anymore. I've been through the "PERFORM THESE STEPS before posting about POST/boot/no video problems" forum and tried pretty much anything but still no solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

The only good Thermaltake PSU is the Toughpower series. You should check those voltages. Per Step 23. Then post them.

How is your monitor connected?

From what port on the graphics card to what port on the monitor?

What make and model gtx 660Ti?

What make and model monitor?

Did it ever work? If so, try a different monitor cable.
