Need Help on Which PSU to Buy £70-£90

hi, i am replacing my CX750 PSU in favor of a more reliable "Gaming Ready" PSU, it needs to be semi modular and be SLI ready (planning on adding another 970 at some point) PSUs are not my strong point when it comes to computer hardware and I would really appreciate if you guys could recommend a PSU with the above requirements in the £70-£90 range. Thanks.

I would definitely recommend the Supernova series PSUs by EVGA, based on Seasonic platforms. They use great components (for example all Japanese capacitors), they have double ball-bearing fans so they're quiet, so they should last you a while.

The Supernova G1 series are only average quality. The B2 and G2 series are made by Superflower and are the best quality.

Soz, my mistake. Go for the B2 instead, it's cheaper and it's far better (except for efficiency).

well the XFX PSU isnt modular

Some EVGA models are being phased out.

The 550 / 650 are now on Seasonic's "GS" platform; the 850 GS and 1050 GS are on the X KM3S platform and the 1000 is on the XP2S platform

The B2 are from SF's mid range Golden Green platform, the G2 was SF's higher end Leadex Gold platform. The B1/B2 series have a 5 year warranty, the G1 and G2 have 10 year warrantees.

FSP makes the 1000 watt G1 as well as the old G series .... have not yet seen who makes the newer design G1's.
