For about 3 months, my display drivers have been crashing when playing CS GO, Skyrim, H1Z1. My screen will flicker black, and then crash do desktop and my screen will be almost all lime green, and I am greeted by a message which says "display drivers have crashed". My GPU is running at 70 degrees when playing demanding games, and idles at 30, so its not overheating. I uninstalled my drivers and reinstalled, and currently running omega 14.12. Any help on how to fix these issues?

Solution
Hello,

We're sorry you are having issues with your card. Is this a new issue that started 3 months ago? or did you get it 3 months ago and its been happening ever since.

Tutorial for proper driver installation.

1-Load windows with only your primary graphics card plugged in.
2-Disable any and ALL anti-virus/malware protection.
3-Download and Run the 14.9 (or latest) drivers from AMD.com (Omega drivers do not have Uninstall built in, you have to do it through add/remove, which is okay)
4-Choose to Uninstall/express (may not be available in newest version, download an older version) the existing drivers, and AMD folder
5-Restart the computer.
6-Disable any and ALL anti-virus/malware protection.
7-Run the 14.12 drivers from AMD.com...

** If you have nvidia drivers on your computer, you might need to run the Uninstall feature of Nvidias driver as well.

its possible that its a video card issue, but the inconsistent nature of the crash is a big indicator that something else could be the direct cause. Have you been able to swap any major components? Ram, PSU, GPU? Is there a way to make it fail every time, like running 3 screens in eyefinity or something of that sort?

We can always have it tested for you here at XFX, if you prefer that route or simply want more minds working on the solution, please create a ticket at xfxsupport.com and shoot me the Ticket #.

Thank you
