Is it microcenter or Asus that sucks?

I first had a miximus vii hero
Then returned it and got asus z97 pro
Both suck. Bad popping audio, high latency and cheap pcb looks like used to some extent.
Who's to blame here ? I regret returning my first 4790K too. Second one is temp(same cooler, paste and case fans) and oc like crap.
Liberal return policy I guess ruins merchandises quality.

While Asus has been the standard bearer for quality for most of the decade, I must say I am severely disappointed in my experiences of late..... 3 month RMA turnarounds, promised fixes that never materialize, huge increase in negative reviews on newegg from Z87 to Z97 and $125 competitor boards from MSI and Gigabyte that toast my $310 Asus.

I'm hoping the are paying attention to the return rates and negative reviews and turn it around to the way it used to be in next generation. I really do love their BIOS and utilities.
