Hi guys, I was doing a soft upgrade of my prebuilt HP by moving the internals into a new case with better cooling and added a new cpu cooler. The internal card reader from the HP was a nonstandard size (neither 5.25" nor 3.25") so wouldn't fit in the new case. I had to get a different internal card reader. Front case panel and card reader combined I have 3 2x5 USB 2.0 headers (one is converted from 3.0 20 pin through adapter) along with other headers (irrelevant to my question). My mobo is the following: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01901210. It has 6 USB 2.0 headers, however only 2 of these are 2x5, the other 4 are 1x5 (missing 1 pin). I want all USB headers to be connected. Is there any way to connect a USB 2.0 2x5 header through some sort of adapter to 2 1x5 headers? I gather that a 2x5 is essentially 2 1x5s in one casing. I found this adapter (see the 2nd one): http://frontx.com/store/order_a.html. WOuld buying 2 of these work and how would I go about plugging these in?
