My computer has never had problems with any games before, and i can play the core game of Arma 3 fine.

But when i try playing Arma 3 Life it shuts down anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes into my session.

I've had programs up to monitor my heat and things were around 40-50 degrees Celsius on both my CPU and GPU, but it could of raised while i was playing.. I didn't check it for about 5 minutes before my last shut down.

I don't get a bluescreen, nothing. Its as if my computer was unplugged from the wall. Instant shut down, then the computer restarts itself.

SPECS:
CPU - Intel Core i5 3750K @ 3.4GHz (Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000)
PSU - 650watt
RAM - 16 GB DDR3 @ 66 MHz DRAM Freq. (Crucial Technology)
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (Core clock @ 850 MHz || Memory @ 1200MHz || Memory @ 2112 Mbytes

Hello Chibb,

instant shutdown would occur of un-stable system. Heat may be a cause of your system or even un-stable voltages. Have you tried to modify anything in Bios settings? Any overclock?
Also, check your temperatures again, when on load.
System maintenance would be as cause too.

When was last time you re-applied thermal grease?
When did you cleaned your PC case out of dust?

EDIT: Answer to your last post:
If your GPU dosen't have a fan, yes,it might have a heat issues and for safety,it just shuts down your computer.
All best,
Randor.

After playing in windowed for about 20 minutes, my temps are slowly rising. Ive went from around 47 degrees to now 52 degrees. So is overheating what my problem is? My GPU doesn't have a fan, so should i just basically get a new gpu? I'm planning on it anyway

My temp is still going up, its around 56 degrees now. So i believe it is a temperature issue. Thanks!

can your temp. monitoring software keep logging temp vs time in the background while playing? when it restarts, check the log and the last entry will show the temperatures when it shut down.

also, to reiterate randor's point, regular cleaning and maintenance is key. vacuum it weekly and strip it down and thoroughly de-dust it every three to six months, depending on how many kids/pets you have.
