SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 280 http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/product_index.aspx?pid=2194&lid=1#
Dimensions: 262(L)X112(W)X34(H) mm.

My current case is Rosewill Blackbone ATX Mid Tower http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147023
Dimensions (H x W x D): 18.50" x 7.28" x 16.06"

How about this card? SAPPHIRE R9 285 ITX COMPACT http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1227&pid=2445&psn=000101
Dimensions: 171(L)X110(W)X35(H) mm.

I have a 550W PSU 12V@45A.

Which card is better if I play on 1440x900 resolution and have a i5-2500 cpu?

Solution
The blackbone supports GPU cards up to 266mm, and that card is 262mm. It SHOULD fit. The second card will definitely fit.

I would personally choose the R9 280 over the 285 which is a mini-ITX card meant for small form factor systems.

The other thread got deleted. Sorry, I didn't know I could ask multiple questions in the same thread.

Here are the models:

Sapphire Radeon R9 280 DUAL-X OC With BOOST 3GB GDDR5 (11230-00-20G) 850 MHz Clock, 5000 MHz Memory CA$249.00

Sapphire Radeon R9 285 ITX Compact OC Edition 2GB GDDR5 (11235-06-20G) 928 MHz Clock, 5500 MHz Memory CA$239.88

Which is the better card? Is the ITX size a disadvantage?
