I have 500W SMPS

My HDD AND Graphics card is getting hot.

i have a rear fan only.

how many more fans can be connected to 500W SMPS so that It doesn't overload the supply?

one fan each in front and side as intake and one more in the rear.

will 500W will run them?

Solution

Fans take barely any power so they should be fine! They come from the board anyway so yeah, more fans will be fine.

It's a local brand and 7 years old.

No actual space on the front but have space in front of HDD for mounting fan, so i will make a manual space on front plastic.

Right, the reason being is due to fan mounts. You can put any fan (of said given size) in said given fan mount, I.E 120mm fans in 120mm fan mount. If your case has somewhere to place a fan I'd put an Exhaust fan to keep negative air pressure in your case (less dust). As I don't know what case you're specifically using I can't tell you where all the fan mounts are but I hope this is atleast some help.
