Does high end air coolers handle the 5ghz overclocked cpus heat?

as the question says.
If I m able to achive 5ghz on a processor, do i have to go for water or high end air cooling is still best?
Yes We cant doubt on custom water cooling system , THEY ARE GREAT
but Custom water cooling is not my thing(I dont want to do that)
Which is better for 5ghz overclock All in one or High end air?
Yes I m referiing to both intel i5 4690k and fx 8350.

Set aside cpu lottery concept.
amd fx 8350 with asus crosshair v formula z
i5 4690k with gigabyte z97 g1 sniper

For 5ghz water cooling is a must have.

Well, for such high overclocks I'd recommend water cooling, but not an All-in-one (those are most of the times just a little bit better than high-end air coolers). For high frequencies I'd build a custom water cooler loop.

High-end air cooling has the ability to handle 5.0 ghz, but you need to make sure that you have good case airflow, and a decent ambient temperature. This, of course, depends on the CPU lottery - which can not be ignored.

I m afraid of leaking with custom water loop and all in one loops.thats why i want to go for air.

The misnomer is that watercooling leaks more than it doesn't; even closed loop coolers. This isn't the case. Possible? Yes. A high percentage of the time, no. Very low.

Understandable, that is why I use air cooling. I am a zealot of Murphy's Law, which is what can go wrong, will go wrong. All you need is the possibility.

From where I live, in summers the ambient room tempreture is 30-35 degree celcius.Corsair 400r is a good budget case with plenty of airflow(front,rear,top,bottom,side,mid)

1. In the above mentioned tempretures an Air Cooler is better or a Water Cooler or All in one loop is better?

2.Will the pump explode or leak in this type of hot tempreture?

Just an FYI - you cannot cool below ambient room temperature with either air or liquid cooling.

I think you are right.ok I will go safe overclocking.
1.So which voltage number is said to be a safe point for overclocking,beyond these the system will be unstable and temps will go boom.e.g.1.02v,1.03etc

When it comes to overclocking, you are going to have to do much of the testing and research yourself. No one can just tell you what values to enter because they may or may not work for your exact system.
