Hello computer gurus,
So recently I got bought a new CPU to upgrade from my old CPU. I put it in and everything was all good. It went in perfectly fine but I have 1 problem. When i turned on my computer everything started up normally but my keyboard is not working. My mouse was working so i was like okay, let me trying restarting it. After restarting it neither my mouse and keyboard both work now.
I know this isn't a hardware issue because when I boot up my computer it gets to the screen where it asks me if i want to "Start windows normally" and safe mode blah bah blah... my keyboard and mouse both work during that period perfectly fine. Once windows starts my mouse lights turn off and my keyboard goes unresponsive and I try to give it CPR.
I tried putting in my old CPU and now my mouse works but my keyboard does not work
