Hi Everyone

Recently I was playing Hero's of the Storm (Beta), when my game crashed saying fatal error. I thought nothing of it and relaunched the game, and it crashed again with a fatal error code. So I relaunched the game again and it wasn't till then that I noticed my GPU, (EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 2GB) at 93 Celsius. Also before the game crashed I heard a sudden loud fan noise through my headset. Now I'm not sure what to do, do I need to clean my GPU, or does this mean its time for a new graphics cards. Also I have had my computer for just over 2 years.

My full PC spec:
Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT
CPU: i7 3770k @3.5ghz Ivy bridge
Motherboard: ASUS sabetooth Z77
Storage: 111GB ATA Corsair Neutron SCSI Disk Device (SSD)
931GB ATA SCSI Disk Device (SATA)
GPU: EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 2GB
RAM: 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz Corsair Vengeance
PSU: Corsair AX 1200

Hi i7Baby

I do not have any overclocks on my gpu, also I have EVGA Precision X16, and it always says my fan speeds are at 30% or 1200rpm. Also my card only has one fan.

Thank you for your response.

Ok so I have updated EVGA Precision X16 and found a way to set custom fan profiles. I found this tool on it called fan curve which allows me to set the fan, so that as the temperature gets higher the fan will work harder. I have set it as the following

is this a suitable fan profile or would it put too much strain on the fan.

Thank you again.

Hello Liam, I have the Identical Graphics Card. It's always overheated. I under clock it to the maximum -502 MHZ. I can only run my fan speed at a Maximum 80% with MSI Afterburner. I play Black Ops 2 and it gets to 101C then my play stream is choppy. Have you found a solution? Can we get the fan to operate at 100%? Can we replace the fan with a liquid cooled better fan? Thank you...
