i just felt super inspirational and my friends have done it before so i thought why cant i. im mainly going to use this for gaming but i might do i tiny bit of video/photo editing.
could you guys/gals recommend the best parts with a link.

i would prefer no AMD parts

for a processor preferably an overclockable one

a 8,12 or 16GB ram which ever one is the recommended

i don't know anything about motherboards

great gpu that can run the most demanding games on ultra (preferably a gtx)

dont mind a small hdd (750gb) since i can upgrade that whenever i need but i want a good ssd

would like a silent fan but or a guide to make a kick-ass water cooled loop

decent cd drive

oh i need a good power supply since i don't know how to pick the right one

a good full tower case but with a window

windows 8 preferably

thanks:>)

Solution
Usually different coolers, different gpu boards, different features, different clock speeds..

The 970 strix EVGA SC 970 and gigabyte G1 970, and MSi twinfrozrr are all good 970s

No overclocking needed, easy to install everything due to the case, you won't need to worry about installation of each part as the 200r is pretty spacious for most parts.
