I was just on google chrome watching my pizza being made on dominoes when google chrome just stopped working and it said how my computer has crashed.
Once it auto restarted whilst doing a mini update in about 2mins it came up with the following:
C://Windows minidunp/040815-40279-01dmp
C://Users/Me/appdata/temp/werdmp
C://windows/memory.dmp (The crash report when i looked in details)

Now i have no clue what that means but for the past week it was crashing on load up saying how th os couldnt boot, so i reinstalled it no problems after that until this. I have 8gb of RAM if you need to know.
Cheers.

Also are you running Dual Channel or a single stick of 8GB? if your running Dual Channel take a stick out, take out DIMM 2 first and try to boot. It should boot on one of the sticks inless you've been really unlucky and both sticks have gone bad but im 90% sure that this crash is running into a RAM issue. If you want to go to the extra step without just swapping out the RAM for a new set is to burn MemTest86 onto a disk and boot from that.
If not just try each stick individually and post back the results.

Thanks, Jason

When it crashed this time it said "Oops your computer has crashed" with the ":(" face and then instantly restarted. Before i reinstalled the os it would stay bluescreen and i would have the force shut down.

Ok, i will test the RAM and see if this is the issue then, for now i will do the little windows one until i get some burnable CD's

Sure just swap out a stick and boot it off 1 at a time, also if your also getting the same error after booting from 1 stick try the sticks in both slots on their own as it may also be a bad DIMM Slot.

Nope does NOT mean any RAM issues. This is common problem that can be Malware that was installed, bad driver, a simple file got corrupted, to any number of hundreds of other things including your PSU is slowly failing, your HardDrive is failing, etc.

As wiping the OS and reinstalling (NOT a good idea anymore really, and should be ABSOLUTELY LAST RESORT) completely fixed the issue, then you already CURED your issue which was a SOFTWARE problem.

If you have a HARDWARE issue (RAM, HDD, etc.) wiping the OS will NOT solve anything, nor any other 'software' fix (drivers, antivirus scan, defragging, etc.).

I re installed the OS when it wasent actually loading up, this was a seperte issue i had, it was saying files were missing and my disk would provide them so i just re installed. So what would you suggest for going about the problem?

Okay your talking about a problem BEFORE you reinstalled the OS.
Then you had a simple Blue Screen of Death (it happens) which is something went wrong and crashed the OS.
This is 'normal' in Windows, and only a issue if it KEEPS reaccuring (i.e. it doesn't connect immediately back to the previous problems, can be something else).
The 'normal basics' to be done on a machine are these steps

Did you install all Windows Updates? Including OPTIONAL except BING? Check them and repeat till ALL are installed.

Download and run Slim Drivers, install all the latest updates but you don't need to reboot until you do the last update

Go to www.filehippo.com
Download Malwarebytes do a CUSTOM scan and select your drives to do a full system scan (it does NOT do this by 'default' and AV doesn't pick up alot of malware) - this resolved almost ALL other similiar posts to date as most had Malware the AV didn't pick up.
Remove whatever AV your using and download AVIRA, AVG, Comodo or Panda and do a CUSTOM scan and select your drives to do a full system scan (it does NOT do this by 'default') - this repeatedly has resolved alot of people issue relying on MS Essentials.
Repeat the AV/Malware scans till the system comes up clean.

Download and run SPECCY, copy and paste the first tab to show your idle temps

Open Computer, Can Air dust out the bunnies and use paint brush on the vents, coolers, fans, etc.

Go through and provide a response on each point, don't SKIP IT because "I ALREADY DID IT" , just try doing it again as of THIS post so we know NOW what is happening as compared to BEFORE you posted.

Well i got back home and began installing speccy when all of a sudden it crashed again but saying it was the OS again with this message.
PNF-LIST-CORRUPT
windows/system32/ntoskrnl.exe
Error code: 0xc0000221
Kernal (Or knernet, couldnt read writting) is missing or contains errors.
This was on the blue screen on death again, tried loading it up and nothing happened just back to the blue screen, so i can no longer get on it to test things. What would you reccomomend now?

Windows got corrupted, the NTOSKrnl is the actual core code of Windows to run as a OS. So looks like you could TRY to use either the Windows DVD to do a REPAIR of your computer, or potentially your HDD itself is failing, so any code on it will keep 'corrupting' (like a copier that keeps spewing black large streaks over your 'copy' no matter how your turn the page it will keep doing it until you 'fix' the copier).

So how do I see if the HDD is damaged because this is the second time in like 2 weeks this has been the issue, and since I reinstalled last time I dont think it will work doing it again.

Well that actually is the test. Your now saying you reinstalled in 2 weeks the same thing happened the most LIKELY it is the HDD failing. Not knowing how old this is, also not including you keep reinstalling Malware / Virus filled stuff / etc. of course, that takes alot to kill off the OS itself, but yeah that is most likely the cause at this point.

Not normally, but I seen drives fail before. Again that is ignoring the potential you also keep installing / getting infected / malwared.

As I said the answer at this point is to start over. I would use DBAN to wipe the drive clean, then do Windows back installed. Then I normally do the basics after that:

Did you install all Windows Updates? Including OPTIONAL except BING? Check them and repeat till ALL are installed.

Download and run Slim Drivers, install all the latest updates but you don't need to reboot until you do the last update

Go to www.filehippo.com Download Malwarebytes (AV doesn't pick up alot of malware)

Remove whatever AV your using and download AVIRA, AVG, Comodo or Panda

Install all apps back in. Then restore your data.

Download and run SPECCY, copy and paste the first tab to show your idle temps

Well, I would start doing all that but how do I get onto it if my computer doesnt load up in the first place? It just goes straight to blue screen.
And as for maleware, i doubt i could of got any as I had about 3-4 on the PC to which I downloaded steam and played 1 game, that was the only time I used the internet.

Doesn't matter if you accidentally hit the wrong webpage, checked the wrong email, or just never put on any antivirus, it happens like a cold. It will happen and you need to have the computer properly 'setup' before you can do anything else, hence the steps.

Second to that, your typing here to the forum, that means your on a computer, that means you can make a DBAN CD wipe the drive as I suggest, get out your Windows DVD / Factory restore DVD and start over, etc. That all has nothing to do with a BSOD or otherwise.

As your response has me concerned, I don't believe your technically familiar with PCs like this, and I would just suggest bringing it to a IT Shop for servicing. But be ready to pay, usually starting at $149 and then goes up from there. You may just want to ditch the PC all together if it is too technical / too costly to have someone do all this work and just switch to a PS4 to game at the level you want at and not need to deal with this, then get a 'off the shelf' $249 laptop for general use (email / Facebook / etc.) as general purpose PCs are now "like cell phones" and 'disposable' price range.

Nah I wont ditch the computer as its quite fun compared to console and i know people who could help with things like this. I could take it to a PC shop as money is no issue for me.
So I will do that then, but first to make sure I will send back my hard drive and get a new one, if the issue persists I will go look for further help.
Thanks for everything.
