Asus A88x-plus/A8-7600 set up how to?

i just bought an asus a88x-plus board with an AMD a8-7600 apu,reused6yr old psu 300w 80+bronze to take advantage of my 1920x1080p 32inch screen for hopefully a live streaming/home theater and fair to good gaming. i want to get led ddr3 dimms but i don`t know if i should get 2x4gig 1600mhz cl8 ram or bigger ram. i am going to recycle my 2yr old hdd 1 tb and dvd player to it and also add a 6yr old 750 gig hdd can i also transfer my hp p2-1343w, oem 64bit windows 8 to it or purchase new?i know 64 bit windows is a must for this.but so expensive new.what should i do?

You can't transfer your HP's pre-installed OEM Windows to another motherboard because it's tied to the motherboard that's in your HP Desktop PC.

Depends how long you are prepared to wait for the final release of Win 10. But if you buy Windows 8.1 now (or even Win 7 if you can get hold of it), Microsoft will give you a free upgrade to 10 anyway (as long as you apply in time): http://www.pcworld.com/article/2873214/windows-10-will-be-a-free-upgrade-for-windows-7-and-8-users.html
