Motherboard Specs.

Per the specs, that motherboard will accept socket 1155 Core I7 processors (compatible processors), but you only have two DIMM slots. To upgrade to 12GB of RAM, you'd have to have just one 4GB RAM module installed. Personally, I'd recommend the following:

1) If you have 1x4GB RAM module installed, add a second, identical 4GB RAM module for a total of 8GB (2x4GB)
2) If you have 1x4GB RAM module installed, replace it with a 2x8GB RAM kit for a total of 16GB RAM
3) If you have 2x2GB RAM modules installed, replace them with either 2x4GB or 2x8GB RAM kits.

yes any sandy bridge i7 1155
and about the ram since you got 2 slots of ram and you already got 1 4gigs dimm get one more and you will have 8 gigs dual channel or in case you add 1 8gigs dimm you will have 12gigs single channel

No there is nothing wrong with having a 4 GB stick and 8 GB stick, just make sure there exactly the same as far as the speed goes (DDR3-1600mhz) for example.

DDR3 and they have to match in speed as well. Like 8 GB stick needs to be 1600 mhz and the 4 GB stick needs to be 1600 mhz.

As far as the processors' go, what are you using your PC for?

i calculated it and it said my DRAM frequency was 665.1mhz after multiplying it with 2 it was 1330.2 so it is 1330mhz?and also tell me which one the processors are better in the following links that i have provided
http://www.snapdeal.com/product/intel-35-ghz-lga1155-co...

http://www.snapdeal.com/product/intel-34-ghz-lga-1155/5...

sorry wolfshadow am from india so the links i provded are uuumm......
don't know.....
anyway i will give you the processor names :
1) Intel 3.5 GHz LGA1155 Core i7-2700K Processor
2)Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1155 Core i7 3770 Processor
and what if i remove the 4gb one and put 2 of the Kingston 8GB HYPERX FURY DESKTOP DDR3 MULTICOLOR RAM 1866 MHZ
will it be 16gigs then?

Both of those processors are on the CPU Support List I linked above. You could use either one, though I'd recommend the newer Core I7-3770 processor.

The motherboard specifications I linked above state the motherboard is compatible with DDR3-1066/1333 MHz RAM. DDR3-1866 RAM *may* work; likely stepped down to 1333MHz and yes, it would be 16GB of RAM. Personally, I'd stick with what's listed as supported (DDR3-1333 RAM Modules).

If i put two of the Kingston HyperX DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC SDRAM (KHX1600C10D3B1/8G) rams together,(they both are 1600mhz) will it work ? If not could you recommend a 8gb ram ddr3 1333mhz?
