Left 4 dead 2 Graphics/lighting problem

im having trouble with l4d2 on my pc. the lighting effects are way off.. its like theres no shadows or its not dim.. to make it simple.. i can see everything now.. even dark areas.. and theres some areas like windows when i shoot them they change into what i can tell is like pink and black square tiles.. is anyone having the same issue? please help! thanks :)

intel i5 4670k
16gb ram

+1 for posting Photobucket links. For some reason, I can't look at imgur links here at work. But looks to me like some driver error. If I were you, I would do clean install of your GPU drivers!

ok i did some experimenting and i found out some stuff.. ive copied my other computer's l4d2 data which did not have any trouble with the lighting effects.. and tried to run it in my computer without coping it on the steam folder.. it ran fine.. with no problems at all.. so what i did was deleted my copy of l4d2 and replaced it with that.. and it still had that problem.. then i tried to run my other copy again and it was fine.. so i think the problem is linked to my steam account? would there be something causing this? its just that i think its my steam account thats causing this.. ive uninstalled/unsubcribed to all my mods.. to this is just the game itself..
