I have a Zotac Geforce gt 730 that I installed in my system in October last year. I had it configured so that it was set to 3840x2160 (4k) and ran it thru hdmi to my Seiki 4k tv. I upgraded my 128g OCZ ssd boot disk to a 240g kingston yesterday, and everything worked fine. Today my graphics wouldn't work except for bios and the windows 7 splash screen. By using a second lower res monitor on the DVDI output I was able to get the hdmi to the seiki working, but only to 1920x1080. I deinstalled the card in device manager, reinstalled the driver, rolled back the driver, updated the driver, removed the card and blew the dust off it, but I cant get beyond 1920x 1080. I put my original 128 ocz boot disk back in, but same thing. I'm running Windows 7 professional, mainly for Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Andy

Solution
the gt 730 is a low end gpu but if used only for 2d graphics can work at 3840 ...
the Seiki is recognized correctly ? i think not ......
with nvidia software driver have you checked the configuration of the display ?
or : control panel / Display
/ change Display settings ...... / resolution

Thanks Max_B. Whatever I did by reinstalling/deinstalling, cleaning, reseating etc. seems to have worked. A secondary problem was created when I was troubleshooting with an additional monitor which seemed to share the bandwidth and prevented me from setting up the Seiki with 4K resolution, even though it showed 4K as the recommended option.
All's fine now. Works great for my editing as I'm not a PC gamer or 3D modeller.
