Hey Guys
I am having an issue with my Asus Xonar D1 sound card, the issue is that when I join a game the sound is very distorted and the game becomes very laggy as a result, also it only occurs after my pc has been on for a while, however if I restart my pc I am able to play the game without any issues. It's very odd and have no idea what causes it and it only affects the game sound when I play games like Arma 2 and DayZ SA but doesn't affect anything else like music or videos. I use Windows 8.1 pro and I've had this pc for a while and have used the sound card for w hile and have no idea why it's just started happening, the only thing that has changed recently is I connected a Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer to my pc and have been playing around with it so I can set it up for future live streams, I would like to find this issue as I don't want to restart my pc every time I want to play a game without audio spasms. The issue is non existant when I use my Realtek onboard audio though I'd rather use my Xonar in games, as I love the virtual surround and the quality it provides. I also tried disabling the onboard audio in the bios but it still persists.
[EDIT] Heres a video on the issue: http://
I hope you guys have a better idea of whats happening here than me.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Oh yeah that's one thing I forgot to mention, I tried both the standard drivers and the unified beta drivers, neither solved my issue though.
