Hello

This is my first time replacing a computer component so i have no idea about anything.
So my old GPU (Radeon HD 8470) was pretty bad so i decided to upgrade.
I bought a gtx 960 and was surprised that when i turned on my computer A message saying that i need to connect the PCIe cable. When i examined my PSU (300w) i noticed that thereare no 6 pin connections that i needed for my GPU.
So i have no idea what to do.
Do i need to buy another PSU?
If so, is it possible to buy one only for my GPU?
Or is there a way to use my current PSU with this GPU?
Thank you.

Your GTX960 is a very strong card that needs the aux 6 pin power cable.
There are molex to 6 pin adapters that would meet that requirement, but it is questionable if a generic 300w psu has enough total capacity to do the job.
You could try it, such an adapter costs about $8.
The danger is that if your psu is a cheap one that fails when overloaded, it can damage all your connected parts.
What to do?

1. You could buy a suitable psu. It will be in the $50 range for a quality unit.
Look for a tier 1 or 2 unit on this list:

Seasonic, XFX, and Antec are good for starters.
2. Return the GTX960 in favor of a GTX750ti that does not need a 6 pin power lead.

3. FSP makes aux power supplies for graphics cards that fit in a 5.25" front bay.

It is expensive unless you can find one used on ebay.
