Gpu never hits 100% usage

I OC'd my 270X to 1260Mhz on the core and didn't touch the memory clock and I also overclocked my FX-8320 to 4.1Ghz and my resolution is 1366x768. The problem is that whenever I look at MSI afterburner while playing games the GPU usage is floating at around 95-99% and it has never hit 100% even before I OC'd them. (Also both overclocks are stable)

Solution
It's unlikely that the GPU will hit 100% either. That would mean that the video game is utilizing every last bit of the GPU and is very well optimized. You should only be worried if it drops below 90%, as that may indicate a bottleneck in your system.

That's going too far. When you first get a PC you should check out temps every now and then but after a month you shouldn't really be checking all that often. Most computer parts that are going to fail do so right away or within that first month. Really no point to keep a constant any on modern hardware.
