Recently upgraded my GPU to a Palit GTX 960 Super Jetstream from a Palit GTX 650 Ti OC and under heavy load my PC reboots automatically. I have the official latest drivers installed and my CPU and GPU temp doesn't go above 40-45 celsius even under heavy load, well, as long as it lasts and doesn't reboot. Using DVI-HDMI cable. Did a clean install on drivers.

What could cause the problem?

PC specs:

PSU: Chieftec 500W
CPU: AMD X4 760k
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU: Palit GTX 960 Super Jetstream 2GB (120W usage, my gtx 650 was 105W usage)
Motherboard: AsRock FM2A78M-HD+
Windows 8.1 64-bit

Sadly I don't have any spare PSU in my home, this Chieftec is an old one but it served me well through this 2 years and I've never had such issues with my GTX 650 Ti which used only ~15W less power
This is the current PSU: http://www.chieftec.eu/en/psus/a-80-series/ctg-500-80p.html

Honestly, it probably is your psu. It's a tier 4 psu according to this list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

You should also try completely reinstalling (do a clean install) the nvidia drivers. Go through your files and find and delete any old drivers as well.

Usually, a pc reboot without a crash (i.e. BSOD) under heavy load means there isn't enough power being supplied to the system somewhere. Are you getting blue screens? If so, you should look up the code online to see what its referring to.
