what is the best GPU for AMD 6 core FX 6300

bought a PC 2 years ago decided to upgrade GPU.

current specs:
CPU AMD 6 core FX 6300
GPU radeon R7 250
16 gb RAM

want to upgrade GPU with no bottleneck. any suggestions?

Budget and PSU?
If you manage to OC a little a 970 is about the best you can do.
