HELP! Major issue with new PC (Sound)

I just received a new PC and am up until recently I have had no problems with it, but then overnight the sound stopped working, I have tried troubleshooting this myself for several hours and don't know what else to do. Please Help!

Same as that guy said, make sure you have switched you output over to some other device and make sure you sound is not muted!!! On speakers, volume control, you head Phones are not plugged in, you not running Skype in the back ground,
