I have a second hard drive in my computer and im wanting to get windows XP on it just to play around with it. However, my BIOS is not detecting that a bootable disk is in the CD tray. My BIOS settings are correct, i even tried completely removing the main HDD off the bootable list and its still booting to windows 8. Can anyone help me?

Welcome to the community, ScareCjr!

Maybe there are a couple of things you can try but afterwards you'd need to make changes to the BIOS settings again, because the procedures will put them back to factory default.
First thing you can try is resetting BIOS by resetting the jumper or reseating the CMOS battery. Here's a tutorial that might shed some light on how to do this: http://www.wikihow.com/Reset-Your-BIOS
Another thing would be to flash the BIOS which will update it to a newer version. Here's a step-by-step tutorial for it as well: http://www.wikihow.com/Update-Your-Computer%27s-BIOS

Hope these work! Keep me updated! :)
