Okay to uninstall Catalyst Control Center after switching to GeForce 750 TI on Dell Inspiron 570?

I successfully added the GTX 750 TI to my Dell Inspiron 570 to replace the onboard graphics and it works fine. I looked in Control Panel and BIOS (as described in other posts) for options to disable the onboard graphics after the upgrade but there was nothing in BIOS and the 750 was the only listing in Control Panel. However, whenever I reboot a message from the Catalyst Control Center comes up after logging on, saying that Catalyst can't control my current graphics adapter. I know I can uninstall the CCC but a post I ran across (can't find again) said that could cause a problem with the AMD chipset on the Dell motherboard. Other than clicking OK on the CCC message there doesn't seem to be any actual problem.

If you're installing discrete graphics, disabling the on board video and eliminating any drivers / software related to it should be your first priority. If any system chipset is affected by removing CCC, which I doubt is possible, then that's extremely poor system design.
