Hello, the past month i have been picking out parts for my new pc, i will mainly use it for music production (will use a focusrite scarlett 18i8 usb soundcard & cubase 8 artist)

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/jankask/saved/d6CKHx

My concern is if i need an aftermarket cooler or not (such as hyper 212) or will the stock cooler be sufficient for my use? I have also received very mixed messages about the Corsair RM PSU, is it really crap or is it ok?

Also if anyone has any suggestions to other changes within the budget that would be highly appreciated!

Hope anyone can help me out!

Hey thanks for all the feedback ! The xeon processor its a bit expensive here in Norway
compared to the i5, but i will change the psu rm to xfx, i have heard allot of good thing about those.

Also going for a ATX motherboard instead of the Matx,
thanks again!

Most e3s will happily go in consumer board with no problems.

For exampkle. 1231 v3 xeon will be fine in an h97 board.
